Project
Responsibilities you'll have
- Analyze system and design requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases in line with ASPICE processes
- Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification activities
- Design and execute: System Qualification Tests, Hardware-Software Integration Tests, System Element Integration Tests
- Perform test execution, analyze results, and ensure adequate test coverage
- Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes
- Support release activities by preparing release verification tests and test summary reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes
Expected competences and knowledge
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN
- Good knowledge of C and Python, with a basic understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models
- Familiarity with the following tools is preferred: CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, ControlDesk NG, ConfigurationDesk NG, Jira, Polarion, Plastic SCM, and Bitbucket
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is considered an advantage
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing will be a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English is required; German and/or French would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
