Salary: 1000-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (3 days per week from the office)

Project


We are looking for an Expert Release Manager with extensive experience in large-scale enterprise environments to oversee release planning, governance, and execution for a leading Nordic bank, ensuring smooth and successful delivery of critical technology initiatives.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Ensuring that new releases to client's technology platforms and applications are planned and executed efficiently, with the highest quality for customers and operations, and in compliance with client's standards.
  • Working with many different stakeholders such as other release managers, Test managers, Product owners, Execution leads, Scrum Masters, Operations teams etc, in order to secure a safe and successful delivery
  • Coordinating, planning and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications.
  • Release and deployment planning and coordination of multiple parallel releases
  • Planning release go live and post-go-live activities.
  • Planning, coordinating and tracking change activities throughout the release process
  • Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for each release milestone.
  • Planning and setting up handover sessions from development teams to operations teams
  • Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating new techniques, automation capabilities, and DevOps ways of working to release orchestration

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • 8+ years of experience in Release Management, IT Service Management, Change Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating go-live and post-go-live activities for complex IT releases
  • Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and track change activities across the entire release lifecycle in large-scale environments
  • Extensive experience leading release decision meetings and securing stakeholder approvals for key release milestones
  • Expert-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior business and technical leaders
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken) is required
