Project
We are looking for a Lead IT Analyst to join our project and take a key role in requirements analysis and refinement. In this position, you will work closely with Architects and Feature/Product Owners to translate business needs into clear technical requirements, guide other analysts, and contribute directly to our migration to modern technology stacks. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep analytical expertise, strong technical understanding, and leadership capability within agile environments.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to refine requirements
- Collaborate with Architects and Feature/Product Owners to translate business needs into technical specifications for both legacy and target platforms
- Lead the development of business use cases and user stories for migration and modernization initiatives
- Mentor and support analysts in requirements gathering, refinement best practices, and documentation standards
- Work hands-on with Java-based applications to break down features into detailed user stories for development teams
- Analyze existing IBMi applications to identify components for migration
- Facilitate workshops and sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit and validate requirements
Expected competences and knowledge
- 15+ years of experience as an IT Analyst with strong focus on requirements analysis and refinement
- Proven experience working within SAFe or other Agile frameworks
- Background in platform modernization, system migrations, or legacy transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with IBMi environments and understanding of modern technology stacks
- Working knowledge of Java applications and development practices
- Experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other agile artifacts
- Strong background in running requirements workshops and stakeholder sessions
