Project
The initiative is a major project in the financial sector, focused on modernizing solutions and automating processes. Its goal is to improve bank customer service while maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge about each client. This involves collecting and analyzing data to assess risks and prevent illegal activities such as money laundering. Ultimately, the project aims to ensure effective customer service and continuous monitoring of client behavior in compliance with international security regulations. As a Non-Functional Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and scalability, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in web application performance
- Conduct tests to assess the applications response times, throughput, and scalability
- Use tools to simulate load and stress test scenarios
- Develop and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance the speed, responsiveness, and scalability of web applications
- Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and implement performance enhancements and optimizations
- Monitor and analyze web application performance metrics using monitoring tools and systems
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, both proactively and reactively, and provide recommendations for resolution
- Regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web application performance engineering
Expected competences and knowledge
- Proven experience as a Web Application Performance Engineer / Non-Functional Testing Engineer or a similar role
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and performance optimization techniques
- Proficient in performance testing tools and methodologies (LoadRunner Enterprise)
- Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTTP, Rest services
- Familiarity with web server configurations and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
