Project
We are looking for a Murex Accounting and Finance Expert with wide experience in Murex accounting concepts, development and support experience.
As a part of project team the expert will be responsible for:
- Analyzing stakeholders' requirements, formulating design and developments to meet accounting and finance management expectations.
- Delivering and supporting Murex, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring implementation.
- Perform various levels of testing and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
- Communicating principles, standards, vision, and roadmaps to stakeholders, proactively addressing any questions/concerns.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Configure financial instrument setup including commodities and equities in terms of Accounting and Accounting inventory modules, Hedge Accounting.
- Setup of accounting on xVA.
- Write new accounting rules/schemas.
- Participate in configuration of new trade classes life cycle and hedges.
- Reporting on progress, issues, and showstoppers to manager and other stakeholders.
- Understanding the impact of new changes into production.
- Ensure deep collaboration across project members.
Expected competences and knowledge
- BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent Science-oriented track
- Knowledge of most common traded financial instruments is a must
- Detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
- Minimum 5 years experience as financial system/business analyst or consultant/developer in Murex platform
- Previous experience in delivering projects in financial services, preferably investment banking and risk
- Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications in the project framework
- Expertise in Murex asset classes including commodities and equities
- Strong knowledge in Murex Accounting, Murex Liquidation, and Accounting Inventory modules and Hedges related configuration
- Experience in delivering projects and in implementation and support of Murex MX.3 with regards to accounting capabilities including linear and non-linear products
- Excellent knowledge of capital markets products and related processes Front-to-Back and postings
