Join an innovative engineering team developing next-generation electrification solutions for the automotive industry. As a System Bench Engineering Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced test bench environments used for validation of high-voltage traction inverter systems.
 
You will collaborate closely with System Development, System Testing, Hardware, and Software teams to ensure reliable and efficient validation infrastructure throughout the complete product development lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Design and develop system test bench architectures and concepts
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, electrical schematics, CAD designs, and BOMs
  • Build, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain LV/HV test benches and laboratory equipment
  • Design custom fixtures and components using CAD tools and 3D printing technologies
  • Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical activities including:
    • wiring
    • soldering
    • assembly
    • diagnostics
  • Support high-voltage testing activities while ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Manage procurement of test bench equipment and laboratory infrastructure
  • Administer engineering software licenses and laboratory assets
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of test environments
  • Provide technical expertise and support related to laboratory infrastructure and test bench operation

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree is considered an advantage
  • Previous experience as a Hardware Technician is highly desirable
  • Strong hands-on laboratory experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good understanding of high-voltage systems and safety standards
  • Experience working with electrical schematics, wiring and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
