Project
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer who is passionate about modern software development and AI-assisted engineering. You will work on backend solutions while actively leveraging AI tools and helping shape the way AI is used across the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java
- Use AI tools such as Codex and Claude as part of the daily development process
- Contribute to establishing and improving AI-assisted development practices
- Support the adoption of AI-driven workflows across engineering teams
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and analysts to improve productivity and software delivery processes
- Identify opportunities to automate work using AI tools, workflows, and MCP servers
- Share knowledge and best practices related to AI-assisted software development
Expected competences and knowledge
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Fluent work with AI tools such as Codex and Claude
- Experience in setting up AI-assisted development processes
- Ability to explain how MCP servers can automate work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent learning ability and curiosity about emerging technologies
- Good communication and collaboration skills
