Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project


You will be involved in a financial project focused on the Payments domain. The role centers around leading a distributed team of developers to design, build, and deliver scalable, resilient, and high-throughput applications. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be the main technical point of contact, ensuring alignment with business goals, high code quality, and architectural consistency across geographies.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Lead a team of software developers to achieve project objectives
  • Understand and gather requirements from various stakeholders
  • Design solutions in line with architectural and business goals
  • Contribute to development activities and delivery of high-quality code
  • Review deliveries to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
  • Act as a gatekeeper for quality, especially in distributed team setups
  • Ensure alignment with Domain-Driven Design and Clean Code practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and QA to ensure successful delivery

 

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • At least 12 years of experience in Java software development
  • Expert-level knowledge of Spring Framework & Spring Boot, SQL (PostgreSQL or Oracle)
  • Practical knowledge of Microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design, Clean Code principles
  • Proven experience in designing scalable, high-throughput, and resilient architectures
  • Good command of CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, Maven)
  • Practical knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, REST, JUnit
  • Understanding of software security
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks and JavaScript
  • Nice to have Experience with TDD
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
