IT Automation Tester

Salary: 900-1100 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk / Warszawa / Łódź (at least 3 days per week from the office)

Project


You will join a strategic initiative within a leading Nordic financial institution. The programme focuses on building and delivering secure and scalable Open APIs, enabling seamless interaction between internal banking services and external partners.

The project also provides the technical foundation ensuring PSD2 regulatory compliance. In practice, it enables the bank to expose services to external systems in a controlled and secure way — allowing innovation while maintaining the highest security and compliance standards.

 

Responsibilities you'll have

  • Test RESTful APIs for compliance, correctness and performance
  • Analyse requirements from a QA and automation perspective
  • Design, develop and execute test cases (manual and automated)
  • Build and maintain automated test suites using Robot Framework
  • Develop supporting automation utilities in Python
  • Report and document testing results and identified issues
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects and other testers
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and team performance

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or software development
  • Solid experience with Robot Framework
  • Programming skills in Python
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles (ISTQB FL level)
  • Experience with manual and automated QA processes
  • Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with CI/CD & DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker)
  • Very good English (spoken & written)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Growth mindset and continuous improvement attitude
  • Proactive communication and knowledge-sharing approach

Nice to Have

  • Experience in financial / banking environment
  • Knowledge of PSD2 / Open Banking concepts
