Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on the development and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications. You will join a cross-functional Agile team responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and highly available solutions supporting business-critical card services.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Full Stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, and SQL
- Develop and enhance microservices and REST APIs, following clean code and software engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues, ensuring high availability and performance
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and apply secure coding practices based on OWASP principles
- Support CI/CD processes and software delivery using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, technical documentation, and the adoption of AI-powered development and automation tools
Expected competences and knowledge
- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
- Good knowledge of Angular and Angular Material
- Experience with Kafka and SQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins/CI/CD
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP principles, and experience with security vulnerability remediation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Nice to have
- Experience in banking, cards, or payments
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and vulnerability management
- Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring
