Project
Building an Underwriter OS – a modern application that combines React/Next.js frontend, Python/FastAPI backend, and orchestrated AI agents to transform underwriting processes. The system integrates with policy administration platforms, tarification engines, DMS, CRM, broker portals, and Outlook. You'll develop data extraction pipelines from broker documents, build prompt engineering strategies for insurance guidelines, and deploy everything on Azure with containerized CI/CD workflows.
Expected competences and knowledge
- Minimum 2 years in Data Science/AI with at least 1 year of production deployments
- Strong React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI proficiency
- Azure Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, AI Foundry expertise
- LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks and prompt engineering
- PostgreSQL and SQL fluency
- Python libraries: pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow
- MLOps hands-on experience (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
