Project

We are looking for a Senior Murex Front Office Expert to join a global capital markets team, supporting the delivery and enhancement of Murex MX.3 Front Office solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, driving the implementation of trading and risk management capabilities across asset classes including FX, Rates, Equities, Credit, Commodities, and Derivatives. The ideal candidate combines deep Murex Front Office expertise with strong business analysis skills and a solid understanding of front-to-back capital markets processes.

As a part of project team the expert will be responsible for:

Analyzing stakeholders requirements, formulating design and developments in order to meet Front Office expectations.
Delivering and supporting Murex, managing the quality of functional delivery and ensuring the implementation
Perform a various levels of testing as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
Communicating the principles, standards, vision and roadmaps to stakeholders and proactively addressing any questions / concerns identified
Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders in both business and IT to assist in defining and delivering high quality solutions
Configure curves, static data (securities definitions, generators, inidicies, etc.)
Write new pre-trade rules, create look up tables, simulation views, e-tradepad, live book views
Reporting on progress, issues, showstoppers to manager and other stake holders
Understanding the impact of new changes into production
Ensure deep collaboration across project members

Key requirements:

BS or higher degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent Science orientated track
Knowledge of most common traded financial instruments is a must
Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
Minimum 5 years experience as Front Office system/Business Analyst or Consultant/Developer in Murex platform
Previous experience in delivering projects in financial services – preferable investment banking and risk
Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications in the project framework (Confluence)
Excellent knowledge of capital markets products and related processes Front-to-Back (Rates, FX, Equity, Credit & Commodities, Exchange traded derivatives and OTC products)
Expertise in Murex asset classes including variety of complex Commodities and Equities product classes
Experience in delivering projects and in implementation and support of Murex MX.3 with regards to front office capabilities including linear and non-linear products
Strong knowledge in Murex FO modules: simulation, live book, e-tradepad, RTPM, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, P&L Notepad, FDI templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices, GOM etc.
