Project
You will join an advanced aviation engineering program focused on the development of next-generation turbine systems, including innovative open fan architectures and low-pressure turbine technologies. The role involves designing and delivering mechanical components for engine modules, supporting both ground and flight demonstration initiatives.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (thermal, aero, systems) across global locations, contributing to design decisions, risk assessment, and technology evolution within a highly complex engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical design solutions for turbine engine components aligned with program requirements
- Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams (thermal, aero, systems, procurement)
- Identify and communicate design risks to stakeholders
- Create innovative solutions supporting module and system-level objectives
- Lead design reviews, drawing releases, and validation activities
- Contribute to assembly analysis and quality requirements definition
- Recommend and support new technology development initiatives
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Solid industrial experience in mechanical design
- Proven experience delivering complex engineering programs
- Ability to work in international, cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovation mindset
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- Experience in aviation or gas turbine industry
- Knowledge of components such as rotors, airfoils, or structural elements
- Experience with FEA tools (e.g. Ansys)
- Hands-on experience with NX / Teamcenter or similar CAD systems
